Dear friends, 

Here is a summary of what's happened, is happening and will soon happen.


New Rector interviews
We have advertised the vacant Rector position and will be interviewing in December. As part of this process we have produced a Parish Profile which you can download by clicking here. Further info here

The Book Fair starts this Thursday 
Running from 11 to 28 November. Click here for the poster. We expect to be open every day 11am to 4pm, but if you're travelling far best call ahead (020 7638 1997) just in case we have to close for a recording.

Let Jake ( know if you would like to volunteer. We are perpetually in need!

Book donations can be left on the pew by the font. 

Advent Fair Sunday 28 November 
11.30am to 3.30pm (followed by the Christingle service from 4pm). Featuring stalls selling good quality second-hand clothes, jewellery, bric-a-brac, children's toys, along with music, refreshments, a raffle and a special visit from Father Christmas (we booked him in advance). The Christmas tree will be decorated from 1pm and there'll be a children's concert from 2.15pm. Click here for the poster.

Donations of good quality clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, accessories etc, can be left on the pew by the font.

Bundling and delivering the Advent leaflet
Click here to view our Advent Leaflet. Many thanks to Gill Thomas for her professional design and artwork. We'll need volunteers to bundle the leaflets this Friday at 11am for 45 mins (plus coffee time). Please email Jake (

Then from Sunday the bundles can be collected and delivered around the Parish. Any help much appreciated.   

Harvest Appeal
Thank you to those who responded to our Harvest Appeal and those who have continued to support us. For those of you who weren't able to attend church,

Hackney Food Bank
Thank you to those who donated to our October Food Bank collection. We raised 41kg of food which according to Hackney is enough for 98 meals. However the December Food Bank collections outside Waitrose are no longer going ahead. Instead you can 
donate to Hackney Food Bank by clicking here.

Sunday rota
We appreciate many of you are out of London at the moment or perhaps wary of too much close contact. But for those who are able to attend Sunday services, your help with the various duties would be much appreciated. Please
