St Giles’ Anniversary
On 10th January 1960 St Giles’ returned to regular worship,
following the bombing of WWII and the restoration. Thanks be to God!
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2025
We take our vocation to unity very seriously at St Giles’.
Join our local ecumenical partners to pray for the
unity of the Body of Christ in this important week:
Tuesday 21st January 5.30pm Choral Evensong at Charterhouse, EC1M 6AN
Wednesday 22nd Jan 12.05pm Mass at St Joseph’s, Bunhill Row
Thursday 23rd 12.45pm Wesley’s Chapel TBC
Friday 24th 12.30pm BCP 1662 Holy Communion at St Giles'
Progressive Lunch
A relaxed church social. Sunday 19th January 2025
Come for drinks & canapés at the Rectory at 11.45,
followed by Lunch parties at Barbican flats at 12.30,
then dessert & coffee back at the Rectory at 2pm.
£5 donation in advance for adults and bring your own bottle (if you want wine)
See Penny in the choir ASAP to register.
Monthly 1-2-1 Prayer Ministry
After receiving Holy Communion, you are invited to join a Prayer Companion in the Lady Chapel for a few
moments if you would like to prayer for anything in particular.
This will be offered on the third Sunday of each month.
Stuck at home or in hospital?
If you’re poorly or unable to come to church
Please let the parish office or the clergy know, if you’d like a visit/prayer.
House Blessing
